Exploring Representation

I am a political economist, professor, and writer whose work explores the intersections of political representation, political economy, governance, art, and social change.

At the center of my scholarship is the study of representation - how individuals and communities are included, excluded, and made visible within political, economic, and cultural systems. Through research, teaching, writing, and public engagement, I examine how institutions shape participation, influence democratic legitimacy, and create opportunities for social transformation.

My work bridges academic scholarship with public life, connecting theory, policy, culture, and practice to better understand the challenges and possibilities facing contemporary societies.
